Over the Spring term, our top achievers in year 7 have taken part in an after school programme called the Super Curriculum.

During their time on the course they have learnt about law, creative writing, the environment, the history of number, how to code break, Shakespeare, and much more. The main aims of the programme were to bring together like-minded students to work on subjects outside of their normal curriculum. This would hopefully encourage a love of learning, aiming high and continued success at school. We also hoped they might make some new friends. It has been really great to see students giving up their own time and fully engaging in the programme.

In April they celebrated an end of course celebration at Lancing College at which they had a tour of the college buildings and grounds, spoke about their super curriculum experience and received certificates from the headteacher Mr Dominic Oliver.

Congratulations to all the students who took part and completed this course. We look forward to welcoming you back to the year 8 Super Curriculum in September!
