How does this course connect to the world of work and allow students to reach ambitious destinations?
By being a valuable qualification that teaches knowledge and skills which are transferrable to further study or application to work place challenges. Students will be able to apply the fundamental principles of working with a computer and solve problems with technology commonly associated with working with computers.
Students can progress on Computer Science course at W6 Sixth Form at SRWA, however I would strongly recommend choosing Computer Science over IT if this is your main aim.
As IT has become a valuable skill in the working world this qualification allows pupils to gain a valuable life skill that fits well into any jobs that uses or works with spreadsheets, apps or the internet. This course can support applications to study most courses in higher education.
